GULFSTREAM ANALYSIS BY MIKE WELSCH BEST BET: RACE 8, MAGNIFICENT MARGO FIRST RACE ELECTRO PEG gets shaky nod in wide open starter optional claimer. Exits a solid effort at a big price vs. perhaps a notch better in Md. finale when outgamed to wire by Two Wonders who came back to win a $16K starter in his next outing. Figures to race forwardly plalced from his inside post. LEDA’S SWAN has traded decisions with preferred choice in their last two meetings and proven over the course, having finished second against this same kind here in July. SHY’S ALY back to more suitable spot after being overmatched in My Charmer and with a pair of wins over the course. Stretch running filly will need some help up front. Must respect La Chuchi and Bossy Gal, both of whom will need to move well forward to compete at this level but eligible to do so off the Navarro claim. SECOND RACE MILWAUKEE WOMAN comes up tagged for the first time, held own vs. better on poly at Woodbine, showed some promise in lone turf try earlier this spring. Working well on the main track for local bow. CRACKING GOOD PINS another getting some class relief, back to conditioned claimers for first time since winining N2L condition at Arlington in July. MARNESIA WILD HEIR also tries N3L’s for first time after being overmatched in last several tries. THIRD RACE GUMARA well spotted return from futile stakes try at Delta Downs. Broke a step slow, dueled throughout before being outfinished by My NOvena who freaked to a new Beyer high by 20 points in 10/16 N1X optional claimer. Need only repeat that try to handle these. SHERRY ANGEL brke slow from the rail, rallied belatedly to be second best behind 2-1 My Esta, wheels back on relatively short rest once again but hard to fault ini current form. REMARKABLE TERESA turns back to six furlongs off career best effort, appears to have lured Gaffalione off preferred one. FOURTH RACE LUCKY LITIGATOR exits much needed bow on the turf, returns to main track off sharp five furlong drill. Wouldn’t need to imiprove all that much to prove competitive in this spot. HANOVER HONEY debuts off long series of a.m. trial, barn can have one ready off the bench. Like preferred choice, wouldn’t have to be much. SHE’Z SO GROOVY drops for tag after passing more than half her field against MSW company in her latest. Must overcome tough post out of mile chute. FIFTH RACE LIVE IN JOY drops under level for which he was claimed out of winning effort this summer at Saratoga. Barn heated up this past week with a pair of victories. Best good enough to beat these. HAMMERS TERROR strictly the one to beat after finishing second behind multiple stakes plalced Lockout ini Ky finale. SAINT PIERRE another dropping back with open claiming company, was beaten a neck by Rose Brief earlier this summer in N J, the latter finishing second behind Saffron Hall here last week in the Claiming Crown Emerald. SIXTH RACE DE PRICE returns to what may be his favorite track, turns back to his most effective distance, fits nicely with this group. Should trip out nicely behind the speed. SWEET ROCKET MAN easily defeated preferred choice in their previous encounter but has not been nearly effective over local soil TAP AND TRADE dueled, faded to third behind next out $12,500 winner Mr. Providence when haltered out of Ky finale, may try to steal this one on the front end. SEVENTH RACE LA MOSKETTE one of several interesting firsters in this lineup. Outworked stable mate Sky Gold on Nov. 15, the latter beating MSW rivals when debuting here on Sunday. Swift filly may stand some catching if she leaves with the field. TAR AND FEATHER by Awesome of Course and a 1/2 sister to Eclipse Award winner Awesome Feather. IMpressed in ech of her last two local works. LITTLE MISS JULIA checked sharply after the break, had to alter course in early stretch, finished willingly in promising debut. Wildcat Gaze pounded to 9/5 at first asking and another who lost best chance shortly after start in 11/29 MSW dash at GPW. Fast Action tired badly in two previous starts on poly but training forwardly since moving into Walder barn. EIGHTH RACE MAGNIFICENT MARGO, the day’s best, tries N1X allowance company for the first time after being a bit overmatched in last pair. Looked sharp in last couple of local works on dirt, ran away from undefeated stable mate Right On Kitten during latter stages of Dec. 7 drill. MISS TEMPLE CITY won her only start going 5 1/2 furlongs in Md. but should appreciate the added distance and another training well for 2yo finale. BACK FLIP an improving filly from top connections, must respect with another forward move. NINTH RACE FRAMMENTO an improving 2yo who turns back to a mile off a pair of solid two turn efforts in Ky. Training well at P M for this. SAVOY STOMP back with more suitable company after being overmatched in the Nashua. Earned high marks in promising debut. Draws inside post for third time in as many starts. BLUEGRASS SINGER comes off best yet in the Buffalo Man, figures forwardly placed throughout stretching back to a mile. TENTH RACE VIOLINIST dueled, faded badly debuting vs. MSW foes in N Y, drops in with selling foes at second asking, may not look back if able to relax on the front end with this bunch. BLUEGRASS SPECIAL launched career for mid-tag for top connections, should handle the going being by Bluegrass Cat out of a 1/2 sis to $283K turf earner Magic Broomstick. THE FORKS has changed hands since finishing far back vs. MSW opposition in her only start. Kin to four inner course winners. Expecting improvement at second asking.
